Our Strength is our Volunteers
Senior Admiration Group offers a variety of volunteer programs tailored to different interests and skills. You can choose to volunteer in one or multiple programs based on your preferences and availability. Our programs include:

Medicare Insurance Counseling
Assist seniors in navigating their Medicare insurance options and provide guidance on coverage and benefits.

Legal
Offer legal assistance and guidance to seniors who may need support with legal matters.

Transportation - Food & Toiletries Delivery
Help deliver essential food items and toiletries to seniors who may have difficulty accessing these resources independently.

Event Planning
Contribute to the planning and execution of events designed to enrich the lives of seniors and foster community engagement.

Foster Grandparent Program
Participate in our foster grandparent program, providing companionship, and support to seniors in need.

Family Caregiver Support Program
Offer assistance and support to family caregivers who are caring for elderly loved ones.

Health & Wellness
Promote health and wellness initiatives among seniors through educational programs, workshops, and activities.

Do you have a sort of training the volunteers go through?No training needed, only requirement is love and respect for the senior community.

What services do you provide?We offer assistance with day-to-day responsibilities, as well as resources for food, housing, transportation, health, employment, and addressing social isolation.

Are there fees for your services?Some of our services may be free, while others may have fees based on a sliding scale according to income. Please inquire about costs when contacting us.

What are your hours of operation?Our hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays.

Can you help with Medicare signups?Yes, we can provide non-biased assistance with Medicare signups and information. Currently, we are in the process of obtaining credentials to offer Medicare enrollment assistance locally.

Who supports your organizationWe are Currently working with City Church, City of Lowell, Meals On Wheels, Council Of Aging and United Way.

When does someone need a caregiver?The need for a caregiver varies by person and living circumstances. For older adults who choose to age at home, caregivers can help them live more safely and comfortably. Some clients may need help permanently because of the natural process of aging, while others may need temporary help after surgery or an illness.

Can I visit adult day centers to see if they're the right fit?Yes, many adult day centers allow visits to help you determine if they are suitable for your spouse or parent. We can provide contacts, referrals, and a checklist to ensure your loved one is in good hands.

Do you offer support for caregivers?Yes, if you're feeling burnt out from caregiving, many centers offer support services to help manage stress and provide referrals for respite care.
